01 / About

"Nacidos de abajo, seguimos bregando."

Built From Zero. Still Hungry.

Underdogs is Marcos Hurtado's brand — Boricua roots, Cuban blood, Houston grind. We don't talk loud for free. We earn every inch: quality you can check, service that shows up, reputation you don't get to fake. The mission ain't only ours. Everybody's in la lucha. Everybody got an underdog.

How we work

  • Family bloodline

Tobacco fields in Spain. Generations of hands on the plant. That work ethic didn't stay on the island — it rides with us every day on Harwin.

  • Own brands, own standard

We don't just push other people's boxes. We build Underdogs ourselves — same pride, same name on the line.

  • Shipped from Houston

Fulfilled from our house on Harwin Drive. Real warehouse. Real people. Real accountability when something needs fixing.

02 / Origin

"De Borinquen pa' Houston — still rising."

From the Island to Harwin Drive

I'm Marcos Hurtado. Puerto Rico raised. Cuban and Spanish blood. My father's people farmed tobacco in Spain for generations — grow it, roll it, cut it, bag it, sell it. Chicken boxes. Saw and sweat. I got that influence from my dad. This work is in our bloodstream.

I put in the years making product for other companies, in a lot of countries. Long days. Learning the hard way. Then I built Lambo Wholesale on Harwin Drive in Houston — cash-and-carry, full catalog, A+ service or don't bother opening the door. On a street full of hustle, we're the Latin-run house that showed up and stayed. Neighbors know us. Competitors underestimated us. That was a gift.

Underdogs is the name we put on what we build ourselves. The underdog isn't a costume. It's how we got here — and how we still move. Family works this business with me. Wife, sons, in-laws. We put in the twelve-hour days because that's the price of respect. Wepa when we win. Quiet when we work. Welcome to the house.

03 / Product

"La moña de abajo que conquistó la escena."

Quality Is the Only Flex That Counts

Anybody can slap a label on a jar. We don't play that. La moña — the flower, the pick, the good stuff — only hits the shelf when it clears our bar. Not a marketing bar. A warehouse bar. Selected, packed, and stood behind by the same people who stock the floor.

We run our own brands because control is integrity. You know who made it. You know who answers the phone. You know the name on the box is the name that shows up when something's off. Flower, drinks, edibles, accessories — same rule: no shortcuts, no mystery batches, no "good enough." Respect is earned one clean drop at a time. If it ain't bacán, it don't ship.

04 / Testing

"No hype. Solo recibos."

Receipts Over Hype

Talk is cheap. Paper isn't. Every batch we sell has a Certificate of Analysis path you can actually follow — not buried, not "email us and maybe." You buy it, you can request the COA for that batch. That's how you run a house with a reputation worth protecting. We stay transparent because the streets — and the customers — remember who lied and who showed the work. Asere, we don't hide the numbers. We show them.

05 / Mission

"Nadie nace arriba."

Everybody Got An Underdog

This brand was born Caribbean — Boricua grit, Cuban fire, family hands that never quit. But the mission is bigger than one island, one city, one last name.

Everybody's got a bottom they came from. Everybody's got a fight they're still in. Everybody wants to be more tomorrow than they are today. That's the universal underdog. That's why the name hits.

So we say it plain: everybody got an underdog. Yours might be a business, a comeback, a family, a promise you made to somebody. Feed it. Stay humble. Stay hungry. Keep bregando. Rise up.
